For now, we offer 2 options, both online:

-private lessons

-group lessons for a maximum of 3 students

We cap the number of students at 3 to ensure adequate interactions and enough speaking time.

First, we will do an assessment interview to evaluate your level, needs and goals.

Second, we will design a plan, a trajectory with a grammatical progression suited to your needs and goals.

Then each class is organised around a certain number of sequences based on our approach (see Our Craft page)

After each class we will document your French and your profile will be reassessed for every 20 hours of lessons, out of necessity or on demand to ensure the appropriate monitoring of your growth. 

Class notes will be shared through Google Drive where you can also access your personal student file.

Our methodology seeks to develop your skills naturally and hence has a strong emphasis on speaking, but we can surely help you with your goals, whatever they are.

We use Whereby, a Norwegian browser-based video conferencing platform that works flawlessly with recent browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera but also Edge, Safari and others). No software, add-on or account is needed. 

We also use Google Drive to share course notes. If you wish to use another online tool, please inquire, we will work something out.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection, and we recommend to use a headset (headphones or earbuds with a mic are fine).

Classes are 60 minutes long. While possible, longer lessons have been proven exhausting and less efficient, especially online, hence we do not recommend more than 1 hour. 

However, we found that a rhythm of 2 lessons a week is ideal, as consistency is key, but many people take only one lesson per week and it works. It means more of a burden on your shoulders, but we will help you.

Keeping the same schedule every week, as much as possible, is helpful as it might be tricky to find you a new time slot in our agenda every week.

Lessons are paid in advance via Interac Transfer or PayPal.

And of course, you can cancel a class. There are some restrictions, but we try to be as flexible as it is reasonable to be.
We also have a very transparent cancellation & refund policy that will be sent to you before you make any payment.

Contrary to a widespread idea, nobody is too old to learn a language. There is even some scientific literature on that matter and we have personally taught learners over 70.

Now, even if foreign languages were not your forte in school, or if so far you have struggled to learn a language, do not let those experiences defeat you. Very often that feeling of helplessness is rooted in how you have been taught, not in your ability per se. We are sure we can help you to grow that language in you.
